The Lev Mordechai Program was developed by the students of Ohr Moshe to provide an option within the school that would be more "yeshivish" in nature. Headed by Rav Aharon Goldstien, the program includes an extra seder of limud Torah in the morning. A shiur in the afternoon in kodesh, and a night seder program. Shabbos afternoon learning and Thursday night mishmar are also in the works.

The program has been lovingly named in memory of Rav Mordechai Goldstien Z"YA, the late Rosh Yeshiva of The Diaspora Yeshiva. Known for his warm and caring love for all Jews, it is the hope of the Lev Mordechai program to emulate the goodness and holiness that Rav Goldstien epitomized.
