The Nefesh HaTalmid Vocational Program "Kadima"

"Making sure a student knows you believe in him is important, but not as much as helping that student to believe in himself."

The Nefesh HaTalmid Vocational Program was founded in 2010 by Rabbi Alter Klein and Rabbi Ari Deutcher to instill confidence, character, and kindness in students from Israel and abroad by introducing them to vocations such as auto mechanics, music engineering, and computer networking. Today the program functions as a "Bagrut Technology" option (Vocational Bagrut) for students to learn computer networking in Ohr Moshe.

Students do five yechidot of computer networking in eleventh grade, and then have the option of doing five more in twelfth grade. The combination of the two can stand alone as a Bagrut in and of itself, or can function as the megama for the students Full Bagrut.

Today, housed in Ohr Moshe, the NHT philosophy continues each year to inspire and instill this quality of character in the students, giving them the gift of skill, and self belief for life.
