The Full Picture,
In Ohr Moshe, the goal of the Limudei Kodesh department is far and above the academic pursuit of understanding and demonstration of knowledge. It is about who we are, what we can become, and making the Torah and its values the foundation and central pillar of our future. Torah is not just taught, it is experienced.
Gemarah is brought to life by the rebbeim in a way which demonstrates its wisdom, relevance, and eternal lessons. The boys see people in their rebbeim who have made Torah the center of their being and observe how it molds their outlooks and values. They are taught the skills to make Gemarah learning a life long passion.
Tanach is taught during the morning, as well as night seder. The boys find themselves walking in the past through the fledgling years and development of our great nation.
